Obviously, now that Shuster is going back the expectations are higher. When John went last time they went the USA team had only one medal and usually didn't even do well enough to make it to the medal round.

John Shuster and the USA curling team are making the media rounds and riding on the success of the Olympics to new things. John came in to talk about the feeling of winning Gold, the Olympic experience, and what might happen in the future.

Norma O’Leary and the rest of the Women's team got another victory over Italy 7 to 3 to stay unbeaten at 3-0 in Karlstad, Sweden, at the 2016 World Senior Curling Championships, and The Men's team is fairing just as well beating the Czech Republic 7 to 2 to also go unbeaten at 3-0.

John Shuster still doesn't look comfortable with the Ice. He isn't missing these huge shots, but it looks to me like he is not confident with the curl yet. It's been hard to keep up with him. He is playing at a normal hour, but when I got up at 4 in the morning, he was in the third end.

I heard from John Shuster, he is excited to be in the Olympics. This year is different. The first time, he won a medal and there was all the excitement that comes with that. The second time, not so fun. Dead last and frustration from the showing he had and the benching.

The excitement is building, the decisions have been made and now the anticipation. Team Shuster is going to Russia to curl and "throw some rocks" with the best in the world. They've earned it, and now they need to earn their way to Russia.
