I Was A Hometown Tourist This Weekend [PHOTO]

We live in such beautiful area that we forget to see just how great the Northland really is.This weekend my friend Kevin came up from the Twin Cities, and after the Green Bay Packers once again won, he took me to Hawks ridge. I have lived here all of my life and never once been to Hawks Ridge!

So next, we took the back way along skyline and through seven bridges road. I have not been on this road for over 30 years. Wow, what a beautiful area with the hiking trails, bike trails, and the feeling of being away from the rush of the city, but still right in town.

We live with such rich nature we lose the appreciation for how great we have it. Stop and smell the roses is still great advice.
