Rosie came by for a visit to the KOOL 101.7 studio. She is one of the regulars at the Lake Superior Zoo, but leading the new spider exhibit at the zoo. The Tarantula invasion starts this Saturday June 11 and goes through the end of September.

Residents in Seattle now have access to one of the best pick-me-ups ever. A baby ocelot named Evita finally made an appearance Monday morning at the Seattle Woodland Park Zoo. The 3-month-old spotted feline was born in early 2011 and has since been bonding with its mom behind closed doors.

A highly poisonous Egyptian cobra got loose this weekend at New York's Bronx Zoo, sending guests, zoo neighbors and zookeepers alike into a nervous tizzy. The 20 inch-long snake forced the zoo to shut down and stay closed through Sunday.
