Game night with friends will never be the same once you load up these wood pieces with jello shots.

It's a struggle to get the whole family together to play game night or things to do for kids that don't involve a screen or device.

For some Packers fans in Wisconsin, they have to deal with Vikings games being broadcast in their county instead of Packers games .

Simon says, put your hands on your head. Simon says, turn around. Put your hands down. Out! If that gives you flashbacks to standing in kindergarten, arms at your sides, while all your classmates point and stifle giggles, let's just say you're not the only one.

I love road trips, but my daughter is almost 23 and that makes for a much more relaxed drive.  For those of you with young children it can be stressful, but there are ways to keep them engaged that doesn't involve a movie, computer or electronic game.  In fact, some of these games can enhance their math and reading skills.

Luckily my friends had rec rooms, rumpus rooms and basements filled with fun games, because all I had was a phonograph.  That was it, a phonograph.  Through my friends I learned how to play pool, air hockey and foosball.  We recently acquired a foosball table through a Family Pathways Thrift Store in St. Croix Falls, WI and childhood memories came flooding back.

The public has spoken and Monopoly will cast away the boring old iron token, a symbol of domestic housework from a simpler time (it's not even an electric iron), which has been included in the board game for almost 80 years. Sorry 'Monopoly' fans, you're going to have to say good-bye to one iconic game piece soon. According to a recent Facebook post, 'Monopoly' wants their fans to vote on which piece is their favorite. The item with the fewest votes will be kicked out of the game, 'American Idol'-style.

Being a pro athlete takes a ridiculous amount of hard work and dedication. You have to watch your diet to the most detailed calorie. You have to do an ungodly amount of strength and endurance training. You put your career, future and life on the line every time you take the playing field. Believe it or not, the same can be said for pro-horseshoes throwers.

Just about everyone I know with a smart phone, pad or what have you...has Angry Birds. There are shirts, hats, back packs.....just about anything is being sold. One of the most popular games on the market. Thursday (tomorrow) the new version comes out.
