One Of The Most Popular Boy Bands Ever Is Returning To Minnesota

I may be out of bounds calling these guys one of the most popular boy bands around, but in the end, I do think they deserve that title. Molded after my favorite boy band New Edition these five guys were plucked from obscurity and went on to sell out stadiums all over the world.

Starting out their careers way back in 1984 they got their first big break in 1988 with their album "Hanging Tough" which included a slew of hits and the name of their group made sense too, New Kids on The Block. So here we go fast forward to 2021 and as they say The Party continues with this "The Mix Tape Tour" which is the greatest name of all time for a tour. Why's that you may ask? Well, back in the day I considered myself the mix tape master. I wanted to go to a music production school and become a producer, but my parents swayed me in the right direction to go to college instead.

So, the legendary boy band New Kids on the Block will be hitting the stage along with some true legends like Salt-n-Pepa, Rick Astley and En Vogue. What? All that talent on one stage? That is a ton of great music and fun for a fan to take in all in one night.

The true beauty of a group like New Kids On The Block is that their fans literally spread out through 2 generations. You have the older fans that were there since the beginning who now might be parents themselves who are taking their kids to the show. So when is it? Tuesday June 14 2022 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
