Kellogg’s Has Developed Another Cereal To Help Celebrate PRIDE Month In June

In honor of Pride Month 2021 which takes place in June every year all over the world, Kellogg's has teamed up with GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) and has a new cereal that will soon be available. It's called "Together With PRIDE ." The cereal is the flavor of fruit loops which are delicious but all the shapes are in little hearts which is amazing, and they are covered in edible glitter!

The theme of this years cereal is that everyone has a seat at the table and to show support for the LGBTQ+ Community which is so incredibly important. Kellogg's first teamed up with GLAAD back in 2019 when they created the "All Together Cereal" It was only available on line, so many people were not able to purchase it. That cereal was 6 different Kellogg's brands all together in one box.

You will be able to find this cereal at major stores starting in Mid May and the 7.8 ounce box will retail sell at $3.99. What a great way for a company to show their support for a community and not just profiting from the cereal. According to a press materials:

Kellogg’s will be donating $3 to GLAAD when you upload your box purchase and receipt to the Kellogg’s Family Rewards site. The brand has committed to donating a minimum Kellogg’s will be donating $3 to GLAAD when you upload your box purchase and receipt to t of $100,000 with a maximum of $140,000. Cereal bought from May 1 to Nov. 30 will apply (just making sure you upload the materials within 30 days of purchase!).

I love the fact that they are using rainbow colors and glitter, but also that the cereal will still be out and on sale long after Pride Month to help continue to spread the word . For me to see not only local businesses embrace the LGBTQ Community as a whole but these national companies as well, it gives me hope for the future. :)
