Duluth TV Personalities Take the Polar Plunge for Special Olympics of Minnesota
Several of Duluth's local TV personalities braved the icy water of Lake Superior on Saturday for the 2016 Duluth Polar Plunge, supporting Special Olympics of Minnesota. WDIO sent a whole team of folks that included reporter Baihly Warfield and meteorologists Dana Zimmer and Dan Romano. FOX 21's Dan Hanger, who has been plunging for years, also showed his support for the cause.
These news folks were among the over 800 plungers that jumped into Lake Superior as part of the event, which raised almost $120,000 for Special Olympics of Minnesota.
