District 9 Newest Councilman Keith Kurn[VIDEO]

With the voting going on today it was a huge turn out in Superior. Lines and lines filled the polling stations in a record turn out. Polls closing the doors at 8 with people still trying to get there vote in. Having a good friend of mine running for a council seat it was even more exciting.

As I watched Keith Kurn with his friends and family eagerly await the results. I drove over to the polling station in Billings Park at 8:15 with many still inside who had not voted yet.

The time came closer and you could feel the energy rise. I can not put my head around what he must be thinking. The news came in and now Councilman Kurn turned to family and passed out hugs and cheers of joy, you could see the happiness and relief in his face.

Congratulations Mr Councilman.
