November 2016 in Top 5 Warmest on Record for Duluth and Northern Minnesota

Sure, a pretty powerful snowstorm blasted much of Northern Minnesota this month, but the rest November has been pretty warm. Heck, much of that snow we got has even melted by now from a warm up and rain. Aside from the time right around our snowstorm before Thanksgiving, the early and late parts of the month have been warmer than average.

National Weather Service Serves Up Their Winter 2016-2017 Forecast

Despite some local TV meteorologists taking shots at the Old Farmer's Almanac's forecast for this winter, it looks like the National Weather Services is agreeing with the prognosis of a cold and snowy winter.
