Lake Nebagamon Car Club Donates Five Thousand Dollars to Local Charities

The Classics by the Lake Car Club gave several business's a wonderful surprise. The club donated $5000.00, proceeds from their annual car show in Lake Nebagamon to ten charities!

The charities who received donations were: Tribute to the Veterans in Lake Nebagamon, Poplar Wisconsin, Food Shelf, The Lions Club (fireworks), Lake Nebagamon Library, F.I.G.S. (supplies area students with school supplies,) Douglas County Humane Society, and 2 Scholarships for Northwestern High School seniors going into an auto related field.

The event took place yesterday at the Lake Nebagamon Library at which Club President Dick Hutchinson told the recipients, "Our goal is to continue to support the community in the coming years with our Classics by the Lake Car Show held each July."
