How Will Veterans Day Affect Garbage Pickup In Superior – Observance On November 11 Will Shift Dates And Accessibility

With the new garbage fee in place for residents of the City of Superior - many people are taking a long-hard look and the services that they receive for the money they are spending.  And, with a holiday coming up - the city service will migrate towards an alternate schedule.

Here are the particulars:

There will be no change to Monday and Friday garbage routes. Tuesday routes should have cans out for pickup by 7:00 AM on Monday; If not done Monday, they will be picked up on Wednesday. Wednesday and Thursday routes should have cans out by 7:00 AM on the regular-scheduled day. NOTE: Pickup may be a day late.

RECYCLING: The recycling schedule will not change during this holiday. Recycling questions can be directed to Hartel's/DBJ at 218-729-5446.
