When the participants come to Grandma's Marathon, it's good to come early. One of the reasons is the extra races, the spagetti dinner. Another is The Essentia Health Fitness & Health Expo, it is one of the largest of its kind in the nation.

This event allows race participants, family and friends a chance to view nearly 100 booths showcasing the latest products and services available in the athletic industry. If you want to learn more about running, fitness equipment, running foods and vitamins,  tips, advice, basically anything to do with running and also staying healthy.

The expo is in the Arena at the DECC and is free and open to the public on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, June 21, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. There are people representing products and people selling products.
