A couple weeks ago now I noticed water on the floor in the basement. I opened the door to another room, and the water literally rushed out. I had a good three to four inches of standing water in the basement.
We vacuumed for days and nights, but it seemed useless, as the more me vacuumed, the more that came in. With fans and dehumidifiers going night and day, it eventually got to the point of being somewhat dry.
6 days ago Halo Muzik has released his new song and video, and is gearing up for Northland Summer Jam. He was recently featured on a new show on our sister station Mix 108, and continues to work to put his name in the public.
6 days ago Sarah at Animal Allies told me the latest two, yes two, pets up for grabs this week and a couple of things going on with both the Duluth and Superior locations. This week for the pet or should I say pets of the week, a pair of cuties.
1 week ago What is your dog thinking? Would you really want to know? I know our dog Maddie would have some stupid thoughts. She likes to river dance to wake me up. She also yawns and puffs at me when she wants to be fed or go out.
2 weeks ago Trish Staine, 33, of Duluth got the biggest surprise early this week. Having not gained any weight and her cycle never changed, she knew she was uncomfortable and having back pain. Having a baby, nope! She continued to training, after all, she's not pregnant, in fact, that was the last thing she thought.
2 weeks ago My son Sam, is named after Sammy Hagar, a small Van Halen reference that I could use, and thanks to my wife, won the first name of Sam. Without being pushed, he has a huge love of music like I do. He loves the Beatles, KISS, Van Halen, Michael Jackson, Led Zepplin, SpongeBob, Yo Gabba Gabba, and the Fresh Beat Band.
2 weeks ago Chris Neal, An Indiana film-maker had a dog that made a connection with him, and he with the dog. So in love with the dog, he made a film about putting the dog down. I wasn't prepared to watch the short film. If you have loved or love a pet, you will cry!
3 weeks ago The 4th annual PIGs poker run will take place Saturday June 1st. Each year their bike run raises money for the Vets, and in years past has been able to raise money to buy a new van to take Vets to their check ups or other clinical visits that they might not otherwise make it to.
3 weeks ago In my Grandma's Marathon Series with Bob Gustafson, we covered the entertainment for this years festivities. One thing Grandma's Marathon has done well, is to have great music for the day and at night to give everyone some time to have fun, whether it be before the marathon, for the families and friends of runners, or runners themselves.
