As we reported earlier, Wisconsin Point is in the midst of a reclamation project this summer.  Along those lines, the Superior Police has posted an alert to the general public about the parking situation at the popular beach area.

According to their Facebook page, the Superior Police Department is warning users of Wisconsin Point about the lack of parking spaces and other restrictions that have arrived as part of the project.  Their post warns the public that "parking spots and trails that have been used for years are no longer available".  Part of the concern, too is that new plants have been put into the ground and the city wants top make sure that they have time to take hold.

Their recommendations are to only park in designated areas.  However, there is no parking alongside the road or on the shoulder.
