Look for the Red curtains Downtown Duluth. Businesses will have the red curtains hanging in their windows throughout the week to hide the assembly work going on behind the scenes.   The decorations are unveiled the same night as the Christmas City Of The North Parade.

It’s all part of the 8th annual storefront window display and lighting contest presented by the Greater Downtown Council. Visitors to the Downtown can vote on their favorite holiday window display and become eligible to win one of many fabulous downtown gifts donated by the merchants. All of the donated items will be on display in a storefront window at 212 West Superior Street across from the Holiday Center.

Participating storefronts include:

Apricot Lane, Art in the Alley, Bagley & Co., CSL Plasma Services, Cosmetology Careers Unlimited, Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs, Duluth Coffee Company, Duluth Pack, Eco, Electric Fetus, Eva Morris, Fitger's, Frame Corner, Grandma's Saloon, the Greenery,
