What’s Happening At Spirit Mountain? Lean About A Proposed Nordic Ski Center At A Public Meeting, April 16

Things are happening at Spirit Mountain!  Within the last few years, there has been an effort to revitalize our cities downhill ski destination. Now it looks like there might be more things to come.

The City of Duluth is inviting the public to provide input at a meeting on Thursday, April 16 about a proposed addition.  This new building would be a Nordic Ski Center located near the base of Spirit Mountain. This project is part of the planned investments in outdoor recreation and tourism in the St. Louis River Corridor with the goal of advancing environmental restoration, improving neighborhood quality of life, establishing the Corridor as an outdoor recreation destination, and stimulating place-appropriate economic development.

The meeting itself will occur at 6 PM at the Morgan Park Community Recreation Center:  1242 88th Avenue West.
