Don't get me started on the current state of school lunches in the United States.  The Federal government has meddled with the requirements for public schools in our country leaving food that most people wouldn't find edible.  Or would they?

A lot has been said in recent years about what school cafeterias must serve in order to accomplish the requirements laid out by the USDA.  In fact, some school kids have taken to Tweeting and Facebooking the meals that are served to them with their own commentary.

But to get back our initial question:  What do school lunches look like in places other than the United States?

I recently discovered this article that details - in pictures - what other countries serve to their children at lunchtime.  They say that pictures are worth a thousand words and in this case, I'll let them do the talking.
