Utility Work To Close Parts Of 21st Street In Superior – February 11-14

Some mid-winter utility work will close a portion of a busy street in Superior for the bulk of the week.  The City of Superior has shared that Superior Water Light and Power has shared with them their intent to perform utility work on a section of North 21st Street - between Catlin and Clough Avenues - in the west-bound lanes - between Tuesday, February 11 and Friday, February 14. It's unclear at this point what specific work the crews will be performing, and the collateral issued by SWLP didn't specify.

Information released by Superior Water Light and Power suggests that there will be a detour in place.  The City of Superior will have a signed detour route in place for west-bound traffic on North 21st Street.

At this point, there is no reason to believe that the timeline for this project will change.  However - with any utility or road project - things can and sometimes do change; unforeseen difficulties and/or the weather can bring changes to the timelines for these sort of projects.
