Thursday And Friday Is Our St Jude Radiothon; Let’s Work Together To End Childhood Cancer [VIDEO]
This Thursday and Friday is our annual B105/KOOL 101.7 Cares For St. Jude Kids Radiothon. Sometimes it's hard to listen to some of the stories, but there is a reason we play them, to help kids, and to help families. Together, in our community alone, we have raised over one million dollars to fight childhood cancer.
We take this task seriously, because these are your friends, neighbors, or could be you that need help. These are children, that were once running and chasing and playing video games, but now are in a hospital with a cancer they can't even say. We will ask you to become a partner in hope, which is a monthly commitment out of your credit card. It will be the best money you have ever spent. I'm a Partner In Hope and I know countless others who are too. Please take the time to renew your commitment or join the fight this year.
St Jude not only saves kids lives at their location in Memphis, but they develop protocols that are used to help kids everywhere, including the Northland. These protocols are used with adults and kids. If something is discovered at St Jude Research Hospital it could help someone with Cancer here in the Northland too. Every bit of information is shared.
This Video sums up what we do. Please tune in and hear why we do this radiothon. You can call this number and donate 1-800-372-4999.
