Kool 101.7 recently teamed up with DTCU to offer one deserving Northland child a five hundred dollar "Holiday Wish." Entrants were to  submit a letter describing why they felt they deserved the prize, and they could either drop off the letter at any DTCU location, or submit it to our website Kool1017 dot com.

The winner of the Holiday Wish promotion was Sean Launderville. Here is his letter as it was written.

"This summer we had a flood...My Mom's box of Christmas decorations and our tree were ruined. My Holiday wish isn't one for me, but for my family. I have two younger brothers and a sister (Anthony 7, Alexis 5, Eli 3) My little brother is three and just learning about Christmas, he doesn't think Santa is coming because we don't have xmas stuff up like usual. My wish is to be able to get Christmas stuff for our family. Thank you and merry Christmas!

DTCU happily donated a five hundred dollar Christmas package to the Launderville family last week. They came to the radio station last Friday to pick up their packages, and gave us all a chance to visit with all of them. They are a wonderful and deserving family, and it's our hope Kool 101.7 and DTCU  made this Christmas a memorable one for them.
