
Tailgate to Recovery to Benefit Victims of Flood Damage in Superior
A group of Superior Senior High School students have chosen to help their friends and neighbors with their Senior Project; In conjunction with the City of Superior, the Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way - they've organized a benefit fundraiser called "Tailgate to Recovery" - which will be held Saturday, October 13th in the "green space"area between WITC and UWS.
The event will start with a tailgate party at 10:30 AM, followed by the Badger - Purdue game at 11 on a big outdoor blowup screen. The afternoon will also include games for the kids, door prizes, and music from three bands.
One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go towards the Superior-Douglas County Flood Relief efforts - maintained by The United Way.
