Superior's newest restaurant is about to open!

The wait is almost over!

In March, a bustling Duluth business will open a new location on Tower Avenue in Superior. The deal has been in the works for almost a year.

Taco Bell is finally coming to Superior! We have confirmation that construction is underway on a brand new building in a new location.

New owners have recently taken over the Capri Bar location. They've changed the name, and have some big plans for the future.

Tower Avenue is set to reopen this afternoon!  Chris Ouellette - the Regional Communication Manager for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation-Northwest Regionhas announced that the project will be complete and the roadway will be ready for traffic later this afternoon.

Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation had hoped to re-open Tower Avenue to vehicle traffic at some point this week (Oct 14-20).  However a delay with traffic signals has now pushed that date to next week.

The anticipated finish date for the Tower Avenue road project is the end of October.  A lot of progress has been made  over the last week and if you get a chance - stop by the orange barricades at the side-streets to take a peak for yourself.

Progress is being made on Tower Avenue and soon a new roadway will emerge from the red clay and heavy equipment!  Here's your update on the construction project as it heads into the last week of August.
