Voting for a A Sweet Event's Christmas Lighting Challenge ends December 20th, so this is the last weekend to get out and enjoy the lights and vote for who you think has put together the best lighting display.

A Sweet Event and Bentleyville are again hosting the Christmas Lighting Challenge contest with winners to be determined via online voting. The best part for those entered, Bentleyville is not a contestant!

The lighting contest used to be all over the front page but fell from view several years ago. . So, A Sweet Event brought it back and and along with Bentleyville are excited to once again host the Christmas Lighting Challenge. This year the challenge has expanded to a regional event thanks to the support from the Superior, Cloquet and Two Harbors Chambers, Superior BID and Legacy Toys.

Families are encouraged to head out this weekend using the full list and map of the over 80 registered lighting displays and vote for their favorites online. Prizes will be awarded for the categories of: “Best Home” and “Best Business” in each city which include Duluth, Superior, Cloquet & Two Harbors. There will also be an additional prize for “Best Home” overall, folks can also vote for their favorite “Grand Master”. “Best City” will also be a voting category, with no official prize being rewarded but bragging rights. Our main goal is to provide the community a fun resource of lighting displays for the community to tour.
