Northbound Lane Closures On I-35 Begin June 1 Near Scanlon

Drivers who are heading northbound into the Twin Ports via I-35 will want to know about lane closures that will affect them starting Sunday, June 1.

The closures are to aid crews as they work on a bridge rehabilitation project that includes a paint job.  Motorists may also encounter temporary lane closures on both northbound and southbound I-35 beneath the County Road 13 Bridge near Barnum when work is required over the traffic lanes.

The I-35 bridge rehabilitation project will extend the life of several bridges and improve motorist safety.
