North Country Ride’s Derby Gala Set For Saturday in Duluth
On Saturday, May 7, 2022 the 148th running of the Kentucky Derby will take place in Louisville, Kentucky. This is an event full of history and tradition as 20 who all earned their place in the race sprint around the track.
Here in the Northland, it will also serve as the perfect time to hold a gala that not only provides a lot of fun, but also raises money for North Country Ride, which is a fantastic organization.
North Country Ride's stated mission is to promote personal growth and development through equine-assisted therapeutic, educational, and recreational activities.
North Country Ride serves clients with a wide variety of challenges; physical, cognitive, emotional, mental, and behavioral..... Clients are able to participate in a variety of equine-assisted therapeutic activities, following individualized programs designed and taught by one of our PATH Int. certified instructors.
On Saturday, May 7, they will be hosting their Derby Gala at the Buffalo House, located at 2590 Guss Road in Duluth.
Here is the schedule of events:
- 3:30 p.m. - Register / Cocktails / Silent Auction
- 4:30 p.m. - Dinner
- 5:30 p.m. - Silent Auction Closure
- 6:00 p.m.– Run for the Roses
Dress is cocktail attire and, of course, Derby hat and Dapper Dan encouraged.
Tickets for the North Country Ride Derby Gala are $40 and they can be purchased online in advance.
