Minnesota Vikings Are Banning Adults from Training Camp Autographs
As far as I know, the Minnesota Vikings may be the first team to try something like this.
The Vikings announced the new policy on their website that says that training camp autograph sessions are limited to fans under the age of 18.
The Vikings say that "the first 150 children in each line will receive a wristband, allowing them the opportunity to watch practice before entering the same line prior to the end of practice. One adult will be allowed to enter the line with every child in order to ensure a parent or guardian is always present."
The team says that all ages will have an opportunity to get autographs throughout camp at various times from Vikings Legends.
The new policy is clearly being done to stop the autograph resellers that often pack these lines. I guess it's a good idea, but I'm sure the pros will find a way around the new system, as they often do.
