If you have old maps pertaining to any conflicts associated with the military, the St. Louis County Historical Society needs your help.

The St. Louis County Historical Society’s Veterans Memorial Hall Program is asking veterans, their families, or members of the public to donate military maps for the Albert J. Amatuzio Research Center, located at the Depot. The VMH mission is to gather, preserve, interpret, and promote the rich and diverse human experiences of veterans, their families, and communities, through the museum, archival and educational programs.

We welcome maps from all conflicts faced by military servicemen and women from St. Louis County and the Arrowhead Region to expand the research capacity, and to tie each map to the story of a local veteran. Maps sought include those from the Civil War, the War of 1812, World Wars I & II, Korea, Vietnam, the Wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the War on Terror.

Maps may be brought to the Society’s main office on Thursday, June 21, 2018, between 10 AM and 3:30 PM.
