John Oates doesn't get enough credit for the singing he does in Hall and Oates over the years. In the times past their prime, each of the two men has done solo engagements and each has done solo records.

Daryl Hall gets credit for the success of the band because he wrote a lot of the hits and ultimately sang them. John Oates is still in on the arrangement and adds the right back vocals too.
