It's truly "5 o'clock somewhere"!  Just ask the restaurant industry.  It's no small secret that alcohol sales constitute the largest percentage of the revenue pie for food establishments. In the last few years, many food places have found ways to insert liquor sales into an earlier part of their day:  breakfast!

The Sunday Brunch of old has migrated towards Bloody Mary Bars and Mimosas.  Add in a screwdriver or two, champagne, maybe even a cucumber press or two and you suddenly have opened up a new part of the day to alcohol sales.

Many restaurants have noticed the trend and are following suit.  Some of the offerings at these Bloody Mary Bars can lean towards the ridiculous, with mountains of garnishes and additions to the classic drink.

Critics of the trend cite sources that suggest that earlier drinking contributes greatly towards alcoholism and addiction.
