Minnesota’s Target Field To Feature A Bloody Mary Garnished With A Slice Of Pizza

In a previous post, I wrote about how I think Bloody Mary garnishes have gone too far;  While I enjoy a celery stick or a pickle - the recent trend in stuffing the drink with outlandish garnishes has made them difficult to consume.

It now looks Minnesota Twins fans will have to endure a larger-than-life Bloody Mary drink this summer.  Officials at Target Field have announced that Hrbek's - one of the establishments at the Twin's home stadium - will feature a Bloody Mary garnished with a slice of pizza. While I like Bloody Mary's and I also like pizza - and, I may consider consuming them at the same time - I'm not so sure that I want to fight a slice of pizza in order to drink a cocktail.

It should be pointed out that the new Bloody Mary cocktail will sell for $19.
