Duluth Fire Department Hosting Third Car Seat Safety Clinic
If you're a new parent or a parent or guardian with a child about to need to transition into a larger car seat, there is a great resource available throughout the year to assure kids across the Northland are safe and secure in car seats.
Car seat safety clinics are free and they allow parents and caregivers to have their child safety seat inspected by a certified child passenger technician. The child passenger safety technician inspect and assist parents and caregivers in installing their child safety seats.
Parents across the Northland can take advantage of another car seat safety clinic as the Duluth Fire Department is hosting their third car seat clinic of the year in June.

The next Car Seat Safety Clinic will be held on June 16 from 4:00 - 6:00p.m. the DFD will be hosting it's first Car Seat Safety Clinic of the year. The clinics are a free service. You must sign up for a designated time slot. For time availability and signup, please visit
This second car seat clinic will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Duluth Fire Station #2, which is located at 2627 W Superior Street. The department reminds parents that masks are still required at all clinics.
The Duluth Fire Department, in conjunction with St. Luke’s Health Care System offers approximately 11 free Child Safety Seat Clinics each year.

As of now, drop-in car seat installations are not being offered through the Duluth Fire Department.
