Rice Lake Township Establishes Collection Point For Storm Tree And Brush Debris

Residents of the City of Rice Lake (a/k/a Rice Lake Township) have a new spot to bring tree and brush debris from their storm clean-up efforts.

According to St. Louis County officials, Rice Lake Township officials have established a collection point at the southeast corner of the Rice Lake Road and Martin Road - in the vacant lot directly south of the Sunset Bar and Restaurant.  Residents of the township are able to bring their tree and brush free of charge between the hours of 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM - Monday through Saturday.  Collection will only be taken during the next 60 days.  After that time this collection spot will close.

Officials remind residents that the collection spot is only for tree and brush debris.  No garbage or demolition materials will be accepted.
