Billy J. Kramer gave us a song entitled "Trains n Boats & Planes" back in the day. Look hard, we may find some..and more in the years to come.

Household appliances, car parts and capsized boats swept out to sea from Japan by the March tsunami are floating across the Pacific Ocean and heading for America’s West Coast. A research center at the University of Hawaii used a computer model of ocean currents to predict the debris flow. The prediction was used to warn a Russian ship to avoid the flotsam on its voyage from Honolulu to Vladivostok, MSNBC reported. The flotsam could reach Oregon and Washington state in three years and then circle back to waters near Hawaii in five years. The tide tends to avoid California. Senior researcher Nikolai Maximenko said the debris would not arrive as one large carpet, but rather as pockets of material spread out for hundreds of miles.
