Mix 108’s Jeanne Ryan Tells Rayman His Shoe is Coming Apart, and to Get a New pair

I was talking to my friend Jeanne Ryan co-host of the morning show on Mix 108. She happens to look at one of my shoes, and says "your shoe is falling apart, get a new pair." I replied, that I'd rather have them repaired, I love the shoes, and I'm superstitious. Then I told her the story of Keith Richard.

The Stones were having one of the best tours they ever put together, it was rockin'. Keith usually plays with his legs far apart, sometimes kneels, in short, he's hard on his boots. One night his boot broke, so rather than buy a new pair, or get the boot repaired, he chose to wrap duct tape around the boot. Keith continued wearing that boot throughout the rest of the tour. He felt if he didn't wear the damaged boot, the tour would fail,or worse, be jinxed.

I'm not quit that bad ..yet. I'll have the shoe repaired, and repaired again if necessary. Like Keith, I too am superstitious to a fault.
