Me’shell Ndegeocello’s New Album ‘Comet’ A Hit [REVIEW] [VIDEO]

If you happen to be a fan of John Mellencamp, you may remember Meshell Ndegeocello, the singer-bassist who first bent mainstream ears 20 years ago when she joined John Mellencamp for a hit cover of "Wild Night" by Van Morrison. I had occasion to see her, and was impressed not only by her vocals, but also the way she man handled that bass.There is no doubt her solo career really kicked off ater her duet with Mellencamp, and over the years I have become an avid follower and fan.  She has recorded several albums to date, and just released On Comet, Come to Me. One of the songs Ndegeocello sings about is a broken romance: "There's nothing between us except the feeling of nothing," she sings in "Tom." according to an article in latimes.com by Mikael Wood. Comet is a definite buy.
