On November 5th,  I posted that we had dropped Dish Network. I promised I would let you know how we were doing. It's now been almost 7 weeks, and Mrs. Rayman and I are doing fine without it. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss some things though, like watching Charlie Rose do the morning news (I love that guy,) and some NFL football, but that's about all. My wife says she doesn't miss anything (and I believe her.)

Considering how much it was costing me, I know I made a smart move. I'm now in a position to watch pretty much what I want instead of the two or three programs I was watching with Dish, while paying for tons of programs I never watched.

It seems we're not the only people fed up, according to an article in USA Today. More and more people every month are dropping Satellite or Cable, and the biggest percentage are happy with their decision.

Until they lower their cost, and let the consumer choose what they want, and don't want to watch, it's my feeling more people will be cutting the cord, and loving it.
