What’s New In Moose Lake? Learn About Future Transportation Plans At A September 24 Meeting
Forward progress is healthy for a community. As Moose Lake officials prepare for their future, they'd like to give you the chance to see their plans in regards to transportation. The Minnesota Department of Transportation is hosting a public meeting on Thursday, September 24 to details upcoming improvements for Highways 27, 73, and 289.
The meeting will happen at the Moose Lake City Hall Council Chambers: 313 Elm Avenue. People are invited to view project layouts starting at 5:00 PM. A formal presentation from MNDOT will start at 6:30 PM.
The project in Moose Lake will include Highway 73, from I-35 to the Junction Highway 27; Highway 27, from I-35 to Highway 73; and Highway 27 and 73 (Folz Boulevard), from Arrowhead Lane to Kenwood Avenue. Work will include pavement and drainage improvements, utility upgrades, turn lanes and access management.
The project is scheduled for construction in 2017.
