Volunteers Needed For “Dig In For The Downtown Waterfront”
If you like to plant flowers and have a knack for it, you may want to volunteer.
The city of Duluth and the Greater Downtown council need your help. They will be planting flowers on the Downtown Waterfront on Wednesday, June 5th.
The project will begin with the planters at Wheeler Field. City crews will move the planters to be along the sidewalks of Downtown Duluth for the Summer. The Clean and Safe team will take care of them during the season. So they need your help with the flowers and planting before they are delivered. So you, or a team you put together can meet at Wheeler. There are about 110 planters that need planting, so this will be an undertaking.
The city is hoping for 60 volunteers whose work will be shown along the downtown streets and downtown waterfront. If you would like to help here is the info you need.
Please join us for this worthwhile beautification project!
