An oft-quoted statement about accomplishing more when we work together is looking like the case when it comes to higher education.  Officials with the University of Wisconsin-Superior and Lake Superior College have announced their plans to partner in an articulation agreement in their Biology departments.

This new agreement makes it easier for students to start their course work at LSC and have those credits transfer to UWS for application towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.  The plan gives confidence to students who are transferring to the Wisconsin university;  they know that their credits will transfer without interruption.

Although the plan is new for the Biology department, the two schools have established partnerships in three other fields of study:  Accounting, Social Work, and Paralegal Studies.
