The second year of a reconstruction project on Highway 61 near Grand Marais will resume in mid-May.  In advance of that target date for the work, the Minnesota Department of Transportation is holding a public meeting to release details and update the general public about what they can expect as the project  moves along this summer.

The public meeting has been scheduled for Monday, April 19 starting at 4:00 PM.  As has been  the protocol in place since the COVID-19 Pandemic began, MNDOT will hold the session in a virtual manner, with a web-link to take part.  Included on the virtual public meeting will be representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation who will share information and gather commentary from the participants.
