Three Major Theaters Trying To Figure Out How To Let People Text Without Upsetting Other Moviegoers

We already have to deal with morons talking throughout the movie, or putting their feet on the back your seat. Now we get the blaring light from cell phones during the movie that we just got done spending $40 to go see and enjoy snacks.
Following the news of Madonna getting criticized for texting during a performance at the New York City Public Theater, along with an incident at a movie theater back in 2013 for the same thing. Theaters AMC, IMAX and Regal Entertainment are considering that along the back row of movie theaters would be a special texting only row. AMC spokesperson told CBSnews.com that AMC is doing nothing of the sort.
I’m glad our Marcus theaters are not in the list that is considering allowing texting, I’m all for shut them off and enjoying our time away from reality and enjoying a blockbuster.
