The 2020 Christmas City Express Is Already Sold Out
A very popular Holiday tradition for many families is the Northshore Scenic Railroad Christmas City Express each and every year. But due to the pandemic they are only allowed to have 25 passengers per trip (not including children under 2,) versus their usual 110 passengers per trip. So as of right now all the trips starting November 27 through December 20 are sold out. I randomly clicked on some dates and any tickets available are for only 1 seat.
They have established a waiting list which they will check daily once the Christmas City Express starts. If you are interested in getting on the waiting list please call 218-722-1273 give your name, phone number, and the number of people wanting to attend.
All guests are required to wear a mask in the building and on the trains. A number of seats have been blocked off on the train to ensure social distancing. The museum does remain open but is closed on Mondays. It is open daily from 10am-3pm. A few "climb inside" attractions have been closed due to the pandemic, but otherwise all the other attractions are open as normal.
