One of the most watched shows right now is Netflix's 'Monster: The Jeffery Dahmer Story' starring Evan Peters. Here's a look at the real-life locations in Wisconsin.

The show is 10 episodes long and follows the gruesome murders of the infamous Jeffery Dahmer. What makes this story interesting, is it is told from the victims' point of view. The show was created by Ryan Murphy who is responsible for hit shows like 'Nip/Tuck', 'Glee', and 'American Horror Story'. Ian Brennan also helped create the show. He's known for writing and producing 'Glee', 'Scream Queens', and the Horror Comedy 'Cooties'.

Here's the plot according to Netflix:

Across more than a decade, 17 teen boys and young men were murdered by convicted killer Jeffrey Dahmer. How did he evade arrest for so long?

I have yet to watch the show, but I have been curious to see whatever happened to the locations where the gruesome murders took place. I recently stumbled across a video YouTube from Freyzel Productions. Jeff is a filmmaker who travels across the country to visit famous graves, homes, filming locations, historic places, and other interesting places. I found a video he did about some of the sites where Dahmer committed some of his grizzly murders.

Oxford Apartments

If you know, the Oxford Apartments where Dahmer lived and committed gruesome acts have since been torn down. The building had 19 apartments and Dahmer lived in apartment 213. The building was located at  924 North 25th Street, and the lot now sits empty. According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the building was purchased for $325,000 by the Campus Circle Project, which is an organization affiliated with Marquette University. There's been plenty of talks about what the vacant lot could be turned into over the years, but it has been left as an empty lot.

Ambassador Hotel, Room 507

Dahmer claimed a victim in the Ambassador Hotel in 1987. However, he claimed he never intended to kill the man, and admitted to not remembering it happening. There's an audio clip of Dahmer recalling the incident in the video by Freyzel Productions.

Club 219

The last location in the YouTube video was a bonus location. Located at 219 South 2nd Street was Club 219. It's pretty much an abandoned building as the club no longer exists. However, it was said that this location was where Dahmer picked up several of his victims.
