Someone shared a post that supposedly Walmart put on Facebook and other social media that they were going to go completely plastic bag-free.

The state of Minnesota has already announced several vaccination sites across the state, including one here in Duluth, now they are adding some retail locations around the state.

Walmart has teamed up with the App company Ibotta along with several other brands to offer a free meal to customers.

Locations in Superior, Hermantown and Cloquet have had reduced hours amid the pandemic.

All three stores have a location in the Duluth area.

In what could be sign of a holiday shopping season like no other, Walmart has announced that all Walmart & Sam's Club stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. They also announced they will pay employees more cash bonuses, totaling around $428 million.

The new policy will be put in place August 1st.

The new policy begins Monday, July 20th and will include a few other changes.

You can even pick up picnic items curbside.

The courtesy also includes others at risk from COVID-19.

Limiting the number of people allowed into the store at the same time is just one of the new policies Walmart is putting in place to help with social distancing.
