The Duluth Fire Department issued another rip tide warning and the Duluth Parks and Recreation Department is saying the temperature of the lake could be dangerous too.

All weekend long Lake Superior held temperatures below 40. The Parks and Recreation division warned this could cause hypothermia.

Swimming and summer just naturally go hand-in-hand - especially when you live in an area that's blessed with an abundance of lakes, rivers, and streams like the Northland.  Heck - we have the world's largest freshwater lake right at our toes.
