Wisconsin is known as America's Dairyland for a reason. According to the latest data from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the state's dairy industry is making a bigger impact than ever before.

Kwik Trip and State Farm Insurance are teaming up to celebrate National Dairy Month by giving out 54,000 gallons of milk in Wisconsin.

I did not fully understand how this would work since I don't keep my grocery receipts.  How do you prove that you purchased milk and/or dairy products while a resident of Wisconsin from the year 2003 until now?  Sounds goofy doesn't it, but worth the few minutes it takes to give your information since you may be entitled to some cash.  Oh, and they don't ask for receipts.

Seven-hundred cases of milk are on their way to Superior, with a planned-giveaway to happen on Wednesday January 23rd - starting at 10AM.  Superior and Douglas County residents in need will be able to pick up a case or two for free, outside of the Solid Rock Mission.
