It's become an annual event that brings out the community and gets everyone into the Halloween spirit.  The Superior Spooktacular Parade is set for Saturday, October 13, starting at 2:00 PM.  The event is a presentation of North End Days.

This years route takes the Halloween-themed parade down Ogden Avenue - from North 12th Street to Broadway, turning right and ending at Hughitt Avenue - right at the Pumpkin Patch.  The general public is encouraged to come out and watch - and to especially wear their Halloween costumes.  A variety of floats will be taking part in the festivities and there will be chances at Halloween candy for all.

The Superior Spooktacular Parade was first organized a few years ago by a variety of individual and business leaders in the community.  It's intent was to give Superior kids and families a Halloween-themed event - something that had been lacking for many years.  Long-time residents might remember the Halloween party that used to be held at the Mariner Mall in the late 1980's and early 1990's.
