Superior Mayor Jim Paine announced plans on Facebook for a new program to help entrepreneurs.

The new program will support "small, local entrepreneurs" with grants of up to $50,000. The Mayor says the money could start going out by the end of the year.

The City Council still needs to approve the program, but once approved the Mayor says "this program up and running in just a few weeks."

The mayor is encouraging entrepreneurs to get their ideas ready and if the program passes the councils approval that he'll have application details shortly. You can follow him on Facebook for the latest.
