Superior Asks For Input On 20-Year Comprehensive Plan
You can make your voice heard! The City of Superior is assembling its 2020-2040 Comprehensive Plan and there are a variety of ways you can get involved and help craft the policies that will carry the city forward for the next twenty years.
Officials with the City of Superior are currently working through the initial phases of the process. The early stages involve examining the issues that pose challenges for the community while also exploring what opportunities exist. To do that, city leaders are in the middle of "analyzing existing conditions, exploring changing demographics, and gathering information" from the people who live and work in the community.
As part of the process, there are two important upcoming venues where you can make your ideas and concerns known. A Community Workshop has been scheduled for Monday, March 22 at 5:30 PM. This workshop will kick off the planning process with a overview of the Comprehensive Plan and engagement activities to understand the desired vision for the future of Superior. At the same time, the city has put together an online survey that people can take at their leisure. This Community Survey will help city leaders take the pulse of the wants and needs for the next twenty year period of time. Click here to take that survey.
There is also a wealth of information about the Comprehensive Plan available on the city's website. Click here for more details.
