A strong snowstorm ripped through Wisconsin over the weekend, bringing with it snow and wind. While the Twin Ports region didn't see a whole lot of snow from this storm, winds from this powerful low pressure system led to strong gusts and blowing and drifting snow.

The peak wind gust measured and reported by the National Weather Service was just shy of 60 mph, with a sensor on the Blatnik Bridge seeing a peak wind gust of 57 mph around 2 pm on Sunday. You can see the whole list of recorded gusts below.

Gusts through the region varied from 30 to over 50 mph through the day on Sunday. Following this wind on the backside of the storm that moved through Wisconsin, cold temperatures are expected. Air temperatures will sink to around -10 overnight, with a daytime high for Monday expected to hit only 6 degrees. Tuesday will be only slightly warmer, with a daytime high of 10 expected. While not as warm as Saturday's 30+ degree temperatures, a warmup to around 20 degrees is expected for the later half of the week.
